Lehigh Valley Health Network in Center Valley, PA is seeking an Outpatient Registration professional to coordinate patient registration, insurance verification, and scheduling with accuracy and empathy. You will conduct patient interviews by phone and in person to establish accounts and ensure financial clearance.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, 1 year of customer service experience, and healthcare environment exposure.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of customer service experience required.
• 1 year in a healthcare environment such as a hospital and/or physician office.
• Computer and typing proficiency essential.
• Ability to interact with a diverse customer base, including those seeking emergency services or treatment.
• Must pass required training in two attempts or less.

Responsabilidades

• Interviews patients to obtain demographic, insurance, and other information.
• Engages patients to create a welcoming experience in person or by phone.
• Ensures referring providers’ orders are complete and match the appointment; obtains new orders if needed.
• Scans insurance cards, scripts, patient identification, and regulatory forms.
• Secures signatures for timely reimbursement and consent forms.
• Determines and collects patient financial liability; refers to financial counseling when needed.
• Reviews daily schedule to identify conflicts and resolve with colleagues.
• Maintains registration accuracy in all processes.

Formação académica
