Atrium Health Floyd seeks a Patient Services Representative I to greet patients, register them, and verify demographics and insurance at the Radiology site in Cartersville. This full-time role requires handling financial discussions and coordinating with financial counselors when needed.

You will support accurate data capture, maintain HIPAA-compliant practices, and help patients navigate costs while guiding them through follow-up scheduling and documentation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; patient access or registration experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with patients and families.
• Ability to handle confidential information in accordance with HIPAA and internal policies.
• Familiarity with insurance verification, pre-certification, and billing processes is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Greet patients and manage patient flow for efficient service.
• Verify and update patient demographics and insurance information.
• Complete walk-in registrations and collect applicable balances or estimated liabilities.
• Inform patients about financial responsibilities and available assistance options.
• Ensure compliance with payer requirements and document accuracy in the system.
• Support patients with scheduling follow-ups and provide required documents.
