Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Graduate.
• Experience in healthcare registration or related customer service is not required but helpful.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and insurance basics is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Register patients and collect demographic, guarantor, and insurance information.
• Explain co-pays and other patient responsibilities to patients and obtain signatures as required.
• Answer phones, screen calls, and route messages; greet patients and visitors professionally.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor electronic health record work queues and support scheduling and registration tasks.
