Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• No licensure required.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain the initial electronic health record foundation.
• Verify patient demographics and insurance information at check-in.
• Discuss and collect co-pays and out-of-pocket responsibilities.
• Maintain confidentiality per HIPAA.
• Answer phones and greet patients, provide directions.
• Support scheduling and patient portal education.
• Assist with e-scanning documents and HIM workflows.
