Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Creates and maintains patient records with accurate demographics and insurance information.
• Checks in patients, collects co-pays and out-of-pocket responsibilities, and verifies coverage.
• Discusses financial obligations and refers to Financial Advocates as needed.
• Maintains confidentiality and adheres to HIPAA and EMTALA regulations.
• Assists patients with directions, transportation, interpreters, and test preparation details.
• Responds to routine inquiries and supports a welcoming, professional environment.
