Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Creates the initial electronic health record for patients.
• Registers patients, verifies demographics, insurance and collects payments.
• Ensures HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality.
• Explains insurance coverage and financial responsibilities to patients.
• Schedules appointments and coordinates test preparations and reminders.
• Provides patient portal/app education and support.
• Answers calls, screens messages, assists with directions and referrals as needed.
• Maintains accurate data entry and contributes to process improvements.
