Responsibilities

Create the initial electronic health record foundation for patient care and safety.
Check in and register patients; verify demographics, insurance, and collect co-pays.
Explain insurance basics and refer patients to Financial Advocates when needed.
Ensure compliance with HIPAA, EMTALA, and related regulations.
Schedule appointments and provide test prep, arrival times, and directions.
Deliver exceptional customer service and assist with transportation and interpreters.
Monitor EHR work queues per department process.
