Qualifications

• Certification in Patient Access (e.g., CHAA) preferred but not required.
• Experience in patient registration, insurance verification, or customer service is preferred.
• Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) and scheduling software is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and verify personal, financial, and insurance information for accuracy.
• Input demographic and insurance details into the EHR system.
• Verify patient insurance coverage and eligibility before appointments or procedures.
• Obtain prior authorization for procedures or services as required by insurance providers.
• Schedule patient appointments based on physician availability and patient needs.
• Communicate financial responsibility and co-pays to patients.
