Job summary

You will pre-register patients, enter demographic data, and coordinate with physician offices and scheduling teams to prepare ahead of visits, while upholding HIPAA standards and delivering premier patient care.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent is required; some college preferred.
• Experience in patient registration or medical intake is preferred.
• Basic computer skills and ability to enter data accurately.

Responsibilities

• Register patients accurately and collect demographic and insurance information.
• Verify benefits for non pre-registered patients and collect co-pays and deductibles.
• Communicate with clinical departments to obtain appointments and orders.
• Pre-register a majority of scheduled patients at least three days prior.
• Maintain HIPAA confidentiality and protect patient information.
