Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Create initial electronic health records as the foundation of the patient medical record.
• Check in and register patients; collect demographics, insurance information, and co-pays.
• Discuss financial obligations with patients and refer to Financial Advocates as needed.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality.
• Schedule appointments and communicate test preparations and arrival guidelines.
• Provide welcoming, professional service and assist patients with transportation or interpreter needs.
• Monitor and work electronic health record queues per department process.
