Job summary

Houston Methodist is seeking a Patient Access Center Representative for a PRN role. This position will cover high call volume and requires training full-time onsite at our Katy location.

After training is completed, you will be allowed to work from home. Responsibilities include scheduling appointments, registering patients, verifying eligibility and benefits, and providing outstanding customer service to patients, physicians, and staff.

Qualifications

• Must have HS diploma or equivalent.
• Three years of healthcare/call center or equivalent experience preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology desirable.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills required.

Responsibilities

• Schedule appointments and register patients.
• Verify patient eligibility and benefits prior to appointments.
• Provide information to patients, physicians, and staff; ensure timely scheduling.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and accurate data entry.
