Qualifications

• 3 years of healthcare/call center experience or successful completion of Houston Methodist Call Center Apprenticeship in lieu of years of experience
• Healthcare setting knowledge and experience with a strong understanding of medical terminology preferred
• Strong computer and data entry skills

Responsibilities

• Schedule and register patients for appointments, verify eligibility and benefits, and ensure financial clearance
• Provide excellent customer service when communicating with patients, physicians, and staff
• Assist management with auditing/quality review to ensure accurate scheduling and registration
• Communicate issues that may delay service or reimbursement to patients and management
