Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Manage the operational and administrative functions of the 24/7 Patient Access Department.
• Supervise, hire, train, evaluate, and oversee day-to-day activities of the Patient Access team (Admissions, ED, Lab and Radiology Registration and Scheduling, Financial Counseling).
• Focus on customer service, patient satisfaction, staff development and financial goals.
• Assist in managing the department's financial aspects and quality assurance activities.
• Coordinate with medical, nursing, and accounting staff to ensure appropriate patient placement.
• Rotate call, weekend and shift coverage as needed and float between SZ Campus, United Medical Center and Off-site locations.
