Job summary

The role includes supervising staff, hiring and training, performance management, and coordinating across SZ Campus, United Medical Center, and off-site locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum 5 years of work experience; supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills required.
• Knowledge of hospital billing practices and scheduling/billing systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee 24/7 Patient Access Department operations.
• Supervise hiring, training, evaluation and day-to-day staff management.
• Coordinate admissions, ED, lab and radiology registration/scheduling and financial counseling.
• Focus on customer service, patient satisfaction, staff development, and fiscal goals.
• Rotate call, weekend and shift coverage; float to multiple locations as needed.
