Capital Medical Group is seeking a Patient Access Supervisor to lead the Front Desk team across our multi-specialty network in the Washington, DC area. You will ensure timely patient registrations, verify benefits, obtain authorizations, and uphold service standards and policies.

You will train and mentor staff, coordinate schedules, monitor performance metrics, and collaborate with hospital departments to improve patient flow and the overall revenue cycle.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Fluent with medical terminology required.
• Experience with patient check-in and check-out process.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in front desk operations.
• Two plus years supervisory experience.

Responsabilités

• Manage day-to-day operations of the Front Desk team.
• Ensure policy and procedure adherence and proficiency in Patient Access technologies.
• Act as liaison between patient access, hospital departments and physician offices.
• Oversee financial resource screening for Medicaid, ACA, and hospital programs.
• Train, coordinate, and supervise front desk personnel.
• Communicate work schedules and track key metrics.
• Support escalation handling of external and internal inquiries.
• Report trends in wait times, registrations, and financial clearance.
