Qualifikationen

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years patient access or referral management experience preferred.
• Knowledge of multiple PMS and EHR platforms preferred.
• Proficiency with medical terminology and insurance benefits verification.
• Must complete onboarding courses within 45 days of start.

Aufgaben

• Serve as liaison between referring providers, clinical teams, and new patients to coordinate care.
• Manage the full new patient referral process and triage based on urgency.
• Follow up with providers to obtain missing medical records and documentation.
• Collect and verify patient demographic, insurance, and referral information for registration.
• Create and update patient accounts in the practice management system, ensuring data integrity.
• Conduct insurance eligibility and benefit investigations to support financial transparency.
• Provide clear appointment logistics communication to patients (time, location, prep).
• Distribute and review new patient paperwork and educational resources.
• Maintain physician schedules to ensure efficient scheduling of new patients.
