Job summary

Hanger Clinic is seeking a Patient Access Coordinator to ensure a seamless experience for patients, staff, and referral sources. You will manage front office operations with strong communication and computer proficiency.

The role involves reception, patient intake, financial transactions, appointment coordination, and collaboration with the RCM team to maintain accurate records. On-site position with competitive benefits is offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients at the front desk, providing wait-time information and answering inquiries.
• Verify and update patient demographics and insurance details during check-in; handle walk-in registrations.
• Collect patient payments, including deductibles, copays, and coinsurance at the front desk.
• Coordinate follow-up appointments, including cast and measure, delivery, and prosthetic care plans.
• Serve as a liaison for clinic services, offering information on patient experience programs and resources.
• Collaborate with Revenue Cycle Management to obtain necessary patient information.
• Maintain accurate electronic health records for all patients.
