Hanger, Inc. seeks a Patient Access Coordinator to manage front desk operations, greet patients, verify demographics and insurance, and process payments at the point of care.

The role requires strong communication skills, basic computer proficiency, and experience in medical front office settings. You will schedule appointments, support patients, and ensure complete electronic health records while collaborating with the RCM team.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Talent Sorter assessment may be used in selection.
• Less than one year of customer service or related experience.
• Experience as receptionist or in medical front office preferred.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsabilidades

• Greet and assist patients at the front desk, provide wait time information and answer inquiries.
• Verify and update patient demographics and insurance at check-in; handle walk-ins.
• Collect patient payments (deductibles, copays, coinsurance) at the front desk.
• Schedule follow-up appointments, including casts, measurements, delivery and prosthetic care plans.
• Serve as liaison for clinic services and patient experience programs.
• Collaborate with Revenue Cycle Management to obtain patient information.
• Maintain accurate electronic health records for all patients.
