Job summary

Hanger, Inc. is seeking a front desk/reception role to ensure a seamless patient, staff, and referral experience at clinics nationwide.

You will greet patients, verify demographics and insurance, collect payments, and schedule follow-ups, including cast/measure deliveries and prosthetic care plans. The ideal candidate has a background in front desk or reception work with strong communication skills and computer proficiency, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Less than one year of customer service/administrative experience required.
• Experience in a receptionist role or medical front office procedures preferred.
• Must have or be eligible to obtain a valid driver's license and driving record.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and assist at the front desk, providing wait time information.
• Verify and update patient demographics and insurance at check-in; handle walk-ins.
• Collect payments including deductibles, copays, and coinsurance at the front desk.
• Coordinate follow-up appointments including casts, measurements, delivery, and prosthetic care plans.
• Serve as liaison for clinic services and patient experience programs.
• Collaborate with Revenue Cycle Management to obtain necessary patient information.
• Maintain accurate electronic health records for all patients.
