Job summary

Hanger, Inc. is seeking a dedicated front desk professional to deliver a seamless experience for patients, staff, and referrals. You will greet patients, verify demographics and insurance, and collect payments at the front desk while coordinating follow-up appointments.

The role emphasizes strong communication, basic computer skills, and the ability to work in a medical front office environment. A high school diploma is required, with prior reception or patient service preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in a receptionist role or medical front office procedures preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients at the front desk, provide information on wait times and inquiries.
• Verify and update patient demographics and insurance details during check-in; handle walk-in registrations.
• Collect patient payments (deductibles, copays, coinsurance) at the front desk.
• Coordinate follow-up appointments, including cast/measure delivery and prosthetic care plans.
• Serve as a liaison for clinic services and patient experience programs.
