• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Preferred: Associate’s degree.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a hospital, clinic, medical office, business services/revenue cycle, or other customer service-related environment.

• Greet patients and guests and initiate scheduling or check-in.
• Verify identity and demographics for the patient’s permanent medical record and assist in accurate reimbursement.
• Handle patient registration/admission processes and collect co-pays, deductibles, and self-pay portions.
• Verify insurance via electronic verification, telephone, or web application.
• Provide excellent customer service and support multiple functions across patient and payer types.
• Balance cash drawer daily and prepare deposits; follow closing procedures.
