The role involves assisting with insurance verification, cross-training to support multiple front-end functions, and maintaining high patient satisfaction through professional interaction and accurate record-keeping.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate’s degree preferred.
• CHAM/CHAA/Medical Assistant certifications are preferred.

Mansioni

• Greet patients and guests courteously in person or by telephone and initiate scheduling or check-in processes.
• Verify patient information and ensure accurate demographic data for registration and billing.
• Explain insurance benefits, collect co-pays and self-pay amounts, and input data into the system for reimbursement.
• Verify insurance electronically or by phone/web application as part of patient intake.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and support multiple front-end functions across patient and payer types.
