Job summary

Jefferson Health in Cherry Hill, NJ is seeking a Patient Access Supervisor to oversee daily registration functions within Patient Access. You will ensure proper staffing, supervise onboarding, and promote a positive patient experience while maintaining regulatory compliance.

The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and extensive knowledge of patient registration and EHR systems (EPIC, Cerner).

Qualifications

Knowledge of patient registration, third-party coverage, benefits, authorizations/referrals.
Proficient with Computer and Microsoft Office; familiar with EHR systems (EPIC, Cerner).
Excellent written and oral communication; strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and staff per Jefferson values.
Maintains staffing schedules and coverage with minimal overtime.
Manages on-site operations including MyTime payroll & attendance, downtime support, and deposits reconciliation.
Responds to patient complaints or stakeholder concerns and identifies process improvements.
Participates in interviewing and hiring new employees; assists in onboarding and training.
Provides constructive communication to service delivery areas; escalates issues to leadership when needed.
Appraises staff performance and mentors; tracks time and attendance for compliance.
Ensures regulatory and compliance requirements are met and achieves performance metrics.
