Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in healthcare or business admin required or 5+ years in physician office/hospital healthcare
• Minimum of 2 years of patient registration experience required
• Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in a physician practice or hospital setting
• Strong knowledge of third-party insurance coverage, benefits, authorizations/referrals
• Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office; familiarity with EHR systems

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily registration functions within Patient Access
• Maintain staffing schedules and respond to time-off requests
• Ensure coverage for vacancies with minimal overtime
• Manage on-site operations including payroll attendance and deposits
• Adhere to deadlines and budgets; monitor performance metrics
• Address patient complaints and escalate issues timely
• Participate in interviewing and training new hires
• Conduct staff evaluations and mentor employees
• Ensure regulatory and departmental compliance
• Achieve individual and team performance goals
