Job summary

Qualifications

• Required High School Diploma or GED; associate’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of customer service experience in a patient-facing role.
• Current Jefferson Seamless Access Representatives with 1 year of experience meet requirements.

Responsibilities

• Register patients and gather demographic and insurance information accurately.
• Verify insurance coverage, collect out-of-pocket liability and co-pays.
• Search and select correct patient records and confirm referrals/authorizations as needed.
• Answer phones and ensure completeness of medical records numbers.
• Rotates through outpatient registration and emergency department as required.
