Job summary

UCI Health is seeking an experienced registration supervisor to lead the clinic’s front desk operations. You will oversee interview, hiring, training, and staff development, ensuring efficient patient check-ins and accurate scheduling across multiple locations.

The role requires strong English communication, leadership, and ability to coordinate payroll, training, and HR-related tasks while maintaining adherence to policies and patient privacy standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year recent experience registering patients in a hospital or clinic
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Demonstrated leadership to supervise staff
• Ability to manage multiple activities and deadlines
• Ability to interpret health plan benefits and make determinations
• Ability to travel to off-site clinics

Responsibilities

• Administer, develop and staff the clinic’s registration/reception
• Interviewing, hiring, disciplinary actions and terminations
• Provide training and orientation for front office staff
• Coordinate payroll, computer training, and quality assurance
• Oversee authorization and surgery scheduling
• Support staff with HR issues as needed
