Job summary

UCI Health in Orange, CA seeks a Clinic Registration Administrator to lead the front desk operations, staffing and workflow for the clinic's registration/reception. Under the clinic manager, you will interview, hire, discipline and terminate staff in alignment with UCI policies while ensuring smooth patient check-in and accurate data entry.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year recent experience registering patients in a hospital or clinic, medical assistant, or medical billing.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
• Strong organizational and planning skills with ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Demonstrated leadership to supervise staff.
• Ability to travel to off-site clinics.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel and database applications.
• Ability to interpret health plan benefit packages and make determinations.
• Ability to work independently to solve problems and make recommendations.

Responsibilities
