Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum one year recent experience registering patients in a hospital or clinic.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
• Ability to travel to off-site clinics.
• Strong organizational and planning skills with ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Demonstrated leadership skills to supervise staff.
• Experience interpreting health plan benefit packages and making determinations.

Responsibilities

• Administer, develop and staff the clinic's registration/reception.
• Interview, hire, and discipline front office staff in coordination with clinic manager.
• Train, orient and conduct in-services for front office staff.
• Monitor productivity and collect related statistics; coordinate payroll and scheduling.
• Provide oversight for authorizations and surgery scheduling; support cross-functional needs across the Health System.
