AdaptHealth, LLC is seeking an Intake Specialist to support patient access to care by coordinating referrals and reviewing clinical documentation. You will confirm eligibility, navigate payer requirements, and work with patients, providers, and internal teams in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, effective communication, and collaboration across teams to ensure accurate setup of services and timely processing of referrals.

Competenze

• One year of relatable work experience required.
• High School Diploma or Associate’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or equivalent.
• Experience in management, administrative, clerical, insurance, billing, claims, call center, or customer service preferred but not required.
• Experience in healthcare organization, pharmacy, HME, medical supply, or Medicare-certified environment is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; familiarity with healthcare systems is a plus.
• Comfort learning new technologies and navigating multiple systems.
• Ability to work independently following established procedures and directives.

Mansioni

• Review medical records, payer guidelines to determine eligibility and compliance prior to service delivery.
• Communicate with patients regarding financial responsibility and document interactions.
• Coordinate with referral sources, physicians, and clinical teams to obtain documentation.
• Enter referrals within established timeframes while meeting productivity and quality standards.
• Navigate multiple EMR and online systems to obtain and manage documentation.
• Assist intake processes to ensure services are set up accurately and efficiently.
• Support team operations and follow company policies.
