Job summary

AdaptHealth, LLC is seeking an Intake Specialist to support patient access to care by coordinating referrals and reviewing clinical documentation. You’ll work with patients, providers and internal teams to ensure eligibility and accurate setup of services.

Qualifications

• 1 year of relatable work experience required.
• High School Diploma or an Associate/Healthcare Admin related degree is required.
• Experience in healthcare admin, insurance, or call center is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Review referrals and patient information to determine eligibility and compliance.
• Communicate with patients about financial responsibilities and collect payments when applicable.
• Coordinate with providers and internal teams to obtain complete documentation.
• Enter referrals in EMR and maintain accurate, timely records.
• Support intake process across teams to ensure timely care.
