AdaptHealth, LLC is seeking an Intake Specialist to support patient access to care by coordinating referrals, reviewing clinical documentation, and ensuring services are set up accurately and efficiently. You will work with patients, providers, and internal teams to navigate insurance requirements and move the intake process forward smoothly.

The role suits detail-oriented individuals who excel in patient communication, cross-team collaboration, and a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Competenze

• One year of relatable work experience required.
• High School Diploma, Associate’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration or equivalent work experience required.
• Experience in management, administrative, clerical, insurance, billing, claims, call center, or customer service preferred but not required.
• Experience within a healthcare organization, pharmacy, HME, medical supply, or Medicare-certified environment is a plus but not required.

Mansioni

• Review medical records, clinical documentation, and payer guidelines to determine patient eligibility and compliance prior to service delivery.
• Communicate with patients regarding financial responsibility and document interactions.
• Contact patients when documentation does not meet payer requirements and provide options to support timely care.
• Coordinate with referral sources, physicians, and clinical teams to obtain complete documentation.
• Enter referrals within established timeframes while meeting productivity and quality standards.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation of patient information using electronic systems.
