AdaptHealth is seeking an Intake Specialist in Utah to support patient access by coordinating referrals, reviewing clinical documentation, and ensuring services are set up accurately and efficiently.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, patient communication, and collaboration across teams in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Hours typically 1:00pm-9:30pm or 1:30-10:00pm, Monday-Friday.

Qualifications

• 1 year of relatable work experience required.
• High School Diploma or Associate/Relatable degree required.
• Experience in management, administrative, clerical, insurance, billing, claims, call center, or customer service preferred.
• Healthcare organization experience a plus.
• Strong communication, analytical and detail orientation.

Responsibilities

• Review records and payer guidelines to determine eligibility and compliance before service delivery.
• Communicate with patients about financial responsibility and document interations.
• Contact patients when documentation does not meet payer requirements and provide alternatives.
• Coordinate with referral sources, physicians, and clinical teams to obtain complete documentation.
• Enter referrals within established timeframes while meeting productivity standards.
• Support team operations and follow company policies.
