Job summary

Qualifications

• Two years of healthcare or customer service experience or education equivalency required.
• Proven listening, interpersonal, and communication skills with a professional telephone manner.
• Ability to stay calm and empathetic in stressful situations, including healthcare contexts.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient interviews to collect demographics and financial information for registration and billing.
• Verify patient insurance benefits and determine patient liabilities per policy.
• Provide guidance across departments for patient scheduling and delays as needed.
• Assist patients to nursing units and provide escorts or mobility support when required.
• Train peers and serve as a resource for team members.
