Qualifikationen

• 2 years of healthcare or customer service experience or education equivalency.
• Strong listening and communication skills with professional telephone etiquette.
• Ability to maintain professionalism under stress and handle sensitive situations.
• High empathy and ability to communicate with patients and families during trauma.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and stay organized.
• Excellent data entry, numeric, typing and computer navigation skills.
• Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Aufgaben

• Conducts patient interviews to obtain demographics and financial data for registration and billing.
• Verifies insurance coverage and confirms patient financial responsibilities.
• Assist patients to nursing units and provide directions or mobility assistance.
• Escalates service issues to management when necessary.
• Adheres to compliance for cash policy, government payors, and patient safety.
• Performs revenue cycle duties at multiple areas/locations as assigned.
