Hanger, Inc. is seeking a front desk receptionist to ensure a seamless experience for patients, staff, and referral sources at our Indiana clinics. The role focuses on patient greeting, intake, insurance verification, and accurate front desk operations.

You will collect payments, schedule follow-ups, and support patients through their care plans while coordinating with the Revenue Cycle Management team to gather necessary information and maintain complete electronic health records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in a receptionist or medical front office preferred.
• Strong communication skills and computer proficiency expected.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients at the front desk; provide wait time information.
• Verify and update patient demographics and insurance at check-in; handle walk-ins.
• Collect payments (deductibles, copays, coinsurance) at the front desk.
• Schedule follow-up appointments, including casts, measurements and prosthetic care plans.
• Serve as liaison for clinic services and patient experience programs.
• Collaborate with Revenue Cycle Management to obtain patient information; maintain records.
