Job summary

Hanger, Inc. is seeking a front desk/receptionist to ensure a seamless patient experience at the clinic. You will greet patients, verify demographics and insurance, collect payments, and coordinate appointments, while supporting the Revenue Cycle Management team.

Ideal candidates have a background in medical front office, strong communication, and computer proficiency, with a focus on accuracy and patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Talent Sorter assessment may be used during selection.
• Under one year of customer service or administrative experience is preferred.
• Experience in a receptionist role or medical front office is beneficial.
• Must have or be eligible to obtain a valid driver's license and driving record.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients at the front desk, answer inquiries and provide wait-time information.
• Verify and update patient demographics and insurance details at check-in.
• Collect patient payments such as deductibles and co-pays at the front desk.
• Coordinate follow-up appointments including cast/measure delivery and prosthetic care plans.
• Serve as liaison for clinic services and information on patient experience programs.
• Collaborate with Revenue Cycle Management to obtain necessary patient information.
• Maintain accurate electronic health records for all patients.
