Academic Medical Group Inc is seeking a Front Desk Specialist to support patient check-in/check-out in EPIC, verify demographics and insurance, and collect co-pays. You will screen for pre-certifications and authorizations and assist patients with scheduling and paperwork to ensure smooth flow and accurate billing.

Qualifications

Experience in healthcare or medical office front desk or patient service.
Ability to verify demographics and insurance information accurately.
Proficiency with EPIC or similar EMR systems and billing documentation.

Responsabilités

Perform patient check-in/check-out in EPIC with accuracy.
Verify demographics and insurance, collect co-pays, issue receipts.
Screen patients for pre-certifications, authorizations, referrals, and explain policies.
Assist arrival flow and direct patients to appropriate clinical areas.
Process appointment paperwork and support patient flow with staff.
Answer and route calls from patients and providers for timely communication.
Schedule appointments and document information in EPIC for team clarity.
Balance cash drawer and reconcile daily payments.
Maintain a welcoming front-office environment and adhere to safety protocols.
