Job summary

Hanger Clinic in Cottonwood, AZ is seeking a front desk receptionist to ensure a seamless experience for patients, staff and referral sources. You will greet patients, verify insurance, and handle registrations at the reception area.

The role requires strong communication and computer skills, with prior experience in medical front office procedures preferred. This is a full-time, on-site position with competitive benefits and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Less than one year of customer service or related experience preferred.
• Experience in a receptionist position or medical front office procedures preferred.
• Must have, or be eligible to obtain, a valid driver’s license and driving record.
• Strong communication and computer proficiency needed.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients at the front desk.
• Verify and update patient demographics and insurance during check-in; manage walk-ins.
• Collect patient payments including deductibles and copays.
• Coordinate follow-up appointments including cast and measure, delivery, and prosthetic care plans.
• Serve as a liaison for clinic services and patient experience programs.
• Collaborate with the Revenue Cycle Management team to obtain patient information.
• Maintain accurate electronic health records for all patients.
