Job summary

The Medical Office Specialist at Hackensack Meridian Health supports outpatient front desk operations, check-in, scheduling, registration and check-out to deliver exceptional patient experience. You will handle EMR data entry, insurance verifications, payments, and communications while maintaining confidentiality and a patient-centered approach across multiple locations in New Jersey.

Travel to various sites may be required as part of coverage for the network.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
• 1+ years experience in a public/customer service setting.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment; professional demeanor.
• Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities
