Allegheny Health Network is seeking an at-bedside Registration/Admitting professional to collect and verify patient data, identify insurance details, and assist with billing submissions. You will ensure accurate EHR entries, coordinate with financial advocacy when needed, and uphold HIPAA standards.

Ideal candidates have strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to work across shifts in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Competenze

High School/GED or 1–3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience operating a PC and using software applications.
One year of related experience, preferably within a medical setting, financial services, or customer service environment.

Mansioni

Conducts scheduling, registration, and admitting functions at bedside, verifying demographics and insurance. (40%)
Collects data for billing, performs ADT tracking, and reconciles payments. (20%)
Delivers positive patient experience and maintains professional communication with patients and staff. (10%)
Maintains confidentiality and accurate electronic health record registration, including after-hours coverage. (10%)
Responds calmly to inquiries from patients and external contacts, complying with policies. (10%)
Completes mandatory training and adheres to AHN policies. (10%)
Other duties as assigned.
