Qualifications

• Certification with Healthcare Financial Management Association or Certified Revenue Cycle Representative is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct bedside scheduling, registration, and admitting functions at the point of care.
• Validate patient demographics and verify insurance information with payors.
• Collect data for timely and accurate bill submission, including workers' comp and motor vehicle claims.
• Obtain signatures on regulatory paperwork as required and maintain HIPAA compliance.
• Communicate clearly with patients and families to explain financial responsibilities and next steps.
• Maintain accurate electronic health record registrations during system downtime and assist in issue resolution.
• Provide professional, calm service during evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
