Job summary

PT Solutions Physical Therapy in Georgia is seeking a Patient Access Coordinator to greet patients, manage check-in/check-out, verify information, schedule follow-ups, and handle payments while ensuring a positive, efficient clinic experience.

You will support clinic operations, collaborate with therapists, ensure HIPAA compliance, and assist with referrals, EMR documentation, and coverage as needed. A HS diploma and 1–2 years in a front-office role are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED; diploma submission required for highest education level
• 1–2 years of customer service or healthcare front office experience preferred
• Experience using EMR systems and scheduling platforms strongly preferred
• Must meet all compliance, background check, and onboarding requirements

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and manage check-in/check-out
• Verify information and schedule follow-up appointments
• Handle payments and explain financial responsibilities
• Support clinic operations: phone lines, schedules, referrals, and EMR documentation
• Deliver a positive patient experience and address questions professionally
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and accurate documentation
• Collaborate with therapists and teams to coordinate care and resolve access or scheduling issues
• Provide coverage support and assist with special projects as needed
