Job summary

Hanger, Inc. seeks a Patient Access Coordinator (Float position) in Petoskey, MI to manage front office operations at the clinic. You will greet patients, verify demographics and insurance, and assist with registrations while coordinating with the Revenue Cycle Management team.

Qualifications

• Front desk or receptionist experience preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with diverse patients.
• Must be able to type 30 wpm accurately.
• Must have valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients; provide wait-time information.
• Verify demographics and insurance during check-in; register walk-ins.
• Accept payments at front desk including deductible and copays.
• Schedule follow-up appointments and prosthetic care visits.
• Coordinate with Revenue Cycle Management to obtain patient information.
• Maintain accurate electronic health records.
