Job summary

Hanger, Inc. is seeking a Patient Access Coordinator in Williamsport, PA to ensure a seamless patient experience at the front desk. You will greet patients, verify demographics and insurance, and handle walk-ins.

The role involves scheduling follow-up appointments for casts and prosthetic care, collecting payments, supporting clinic services, and collaborating with the Revenue Cycle Management team to maintain accurate electronic health records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong customer service and front desk experience preferred.
• Experience with medical front office procedures is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients at the front desk and provide wait time information.
• Verify and update patient demographics and insurance at check-in; handle walk-ins.
• Collect patient payments including deductibles, copays, and coinsurance at the front desk.
• Schedule follow-up appointments for casts, measurements, and prosthetic care plans.
• Serve as a liaison for clinic services and patient experience programs.
• Collaborate with Revenue Cycle Management to obtain necessary patient information.
• Maintain accurate and complete electronic health records for all patients.
