Job summary

Capital Health is seeking a front desk patient access representative to greet patients, check-in and provide courteous support in a 40-hour work week. The role requires excellent communication, attention to detail, and the ability to handle insurance questions, data entry and medical terminology; bilingual (Spanish) is preferred but not required.

This position participates in delivering a positive patient experience, supports lobby operations, and collaborates with the front desk and Patient

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year of customer service experience.
• Bilingual Spanish preferred.
• Insurance knowledge, data entry, and medical terminology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and facilitate check-in at front desk.
• Enhance patient satisfaction through courteous assistance with outpatient check-in process.
• Communicate insurance questions/concerns to appropriate team.
• Maintain a professional image and supportive lobby environment.
• Direct and assist with transporting patients when needed.
• Support registration with scanning and packet preparation.
