SimonMed Imaging is seeking a Patient Service Specialist to guide patients through admission with care. You will greet patients, verify insurance, and process documentation to start every visit with clarity and compassion.

You thrive in fast-paced settings, communicate with empathy, and collaborate with clinical and support teams to ensure smooth patient flow and a positive experience from arrival through checkout.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of customer service, patient access, medical office, or call center experience.
• Experience with scheduling, insurance verification, or healthcare registration processes.
• Strong computer and data entry skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience working with EMR/PM systems preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and guide them through admission processes.
• Verify insurance information and process documentation.
• Manage patient demographics, medical histories, consent forms, and payments.
• Support front desk operations with professionalism and empathy.
• Coordinate with clinical and operational teams to ensure smooth patient flow.
• Handle scheduling, billing, and patient flow issues.
• Maintain accuracy and compliance in patient records.
