Job summary

SimonMed Imaging seeks a friendly Patient Service Specialist to greet patients, verify insurance, and manage admissions across imaging centers. You will handle demographics, medical history, consent forms, and payments with accuracy while contributing to a smooth, compassionate patient experience.

In this role, you’ll support scheduling and registration, work with EMR/PM systems, and collaborate with clinical and support teams to resolve scheduling or billing issues while maintaining service

Qualifications

• 1+ years of customer service, patient access, medical office, or call center experience preferred.
• Experience with scheduling, insurance verification, or healthcare registration processes preferred.
• Strong computer and data entry skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience working with EMR/PM systems preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and guide them through admission and intake processes.
• Verify insurance and collect necessary demographic, medical history, consent, and payment information.
• Process documentation and ensure visit flow starts clearly and efficiently.
• Support scheduling, billing, and patient flow to resolve issues and maintain a positive experience.
