Job summary

Summit Health, a physician-led, patient-centric network, is seeking a Patient Service Representative (PSR) to greet patients, schedule appointments and tests, handle calls, collect payments, and post payments across multiple applications. You will help maintain efficient patient flow and accurate records.

The role requires excellent communication, data entry accuracy, and a courteous, professional demeanor. Experience in a medical office and HIPAA familiarity are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED; associate degree preferred.
• 0–1 years experience; 2–4 years preferred.
• Ability to communicate clearly in English, both oral and written.

Responsibilities

• Greet visitors, patients and families professionally.
• Schedule appointments and tests efficiently.
• Answer calls promptly and address patient needs.
• Post payments and provide receipts; reconcile daily payments.
• Maintain patient information, verify insurance, and process forms.
