Job summary

Responsibilities

• Greets and arrival patients; secures signatures for documentation; follows CHMG policies.
• Obtains and verifies insurance and demographic information; conducts collections education.
• Facilitates patient care between primary, specialty, and ancillary services.
• Welcomes and coordinates intake of patient information and maintains medical records.
• Processes and routes calls and inquiries from departments and practice.
• Schedules and confirms appointments; promotes Patient Connect enrollment.
• Distributes mail, faxes and electronic documents; educates patient on form completion.
• Supports a patient-centered culture and works on multiple projects.
