Job summary

US Eye, a physician-led network of eye care practices, is seeking a Patient Care Access Representative to serve as the friendly first contact for patients across our Florida footprint. You will verify information, assist with questionnaires, and help coordinate appointments and payments.

The role emphasizes a polite, attentive, and organized approach to enhance the patient experience and keep the practice running smoothly across multiple locations.

Qualifications

• Customer service skills for front-desk patient contact.
• Ability to handle check-in/out processes and forms.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Comfort with multiple tasks in a fast-paced medical office.

Responsibilities

• Greet and direct all patients, visitors, and staff upon entry of the practice.
• Provide a pleasant check-in experience by verifying information and answering questions.
• Print daily team/physician schedules for the day.
• Attend to walk-in patients and scheduling inquiries.
• Disseminate information via telephone and computer systems as appropriate.
• Update next-day charts based on appointment schedules.
• Maintain an orderly, safe workspace for patients and staff.
• Complete appointment confirmations and collect co-pays/balances at check-out.
• Fill out essential reports and forms; perform other admin duties as needed.
• Assist with triage scheduling questions with clinical team support as needed.
• Remain the point person for template schedules for MDs’ consults and OD exams.
